All pupils at Rowhill school have the opportunity to attend numerous visits and take part in different events. It is important to all at Rowhill that our young people are given the chance to experience activities with other young people and members of the community to help develop their confidence and wider experience of the world.
We see a huge value in offering as many of these varied opportunities as possible and during the last twelve months, our students have taken part in sporting and cultural festivals, visited a number of historical attractions, Thames river trips, fishing, horse riding as well as visitors into the school for a Roman day and World War 1day and Anti Bullying Laser show!
We participate in many sporting competitions and have had success particularly with football but run other internal events such as table tennis, snooker and pool competitions.
The introduction of a school talent show and staff/pupil pantomime has been a successful addition.
Each year pupils also have the opportunity to take part in a residential trip in Kent as well as residential experiences gained as part of ‘Challenger Troop’.
