School Uniform

Pupils at Rowhill School are required to wear a simple (unbranded is acceptable) uniform of white/blue top and grey/black trousers/shorts/skirts as follows:-

  • White or blue shirt/polo shirt
  • Blue jumpers/sweatshirts or a dark coloured jumper/sweatshirt
  • Grey/black trousers/shorts or skirts
  • Blue check dresses may be worn in Summer
  • Navy/grey/black coloured tights
  • Navy/grey/black/white coloured socks
  • Flat black shoes/trainers

Rowhill School branded items (jumpers, t-shirts, fleeces and hats with the school logo) can be purchased from the school office.  These are not compulsory items.  Uniform without the school logo can be obtained from high street retailers/supermarkets.  The school also offers a small selection of second-hand uniform to ensure affordability.

Crocs and sliders are not permitted due to the health and safety risks they pose.

Parents will be advised of P.E., games and swimming days at the start of each school year.  All children should be provided with appropriate kit as follows:-

  • T-shirt and sports shorts (without school logo), plimsolls or trainers, in a named bag
  • Football boots (as needed)
  • Swimwear (any colour) and a towel will be required for swimming in a named, waterproof bag
  • Tracksuits may be worn during colder weather

Advice about school uniform is available from the School.  No child will be refused admission to the School if they are not wearing uniform, but a child arriving totally inappropriately dressed may be requested to return home and change.  We do however ask for parents'/carers’ support in ensuring that their youngsters arrive in uniform during term time.  Please ensure that every item of uniform is clearly marked with child’s full name.
