I want to invite you to our St Nicholas Day on 6th December. It will start at 5.45 pm with a parade from Tesco, New Street, Gravesend and continue on the Community Square, Gravesend from 6 pm until 7 pm with a story and goody bags.

Gravesham has a diverse population that includes Sikhs, Moslems, indigenous Christians, and over the past 10-15 years, many people from Central and East European countries.

Celebration of St Nicholas Day will bring children, their parents and grandparents from all parts of the community, existing and new ones, to the event. It will be held on the aptly named Community Square and contribute towards tolerance, understanding and mutual respect that underpins community cohesion within this very diverse area.
